I'VE ALWAYS FELT VIDEO GAMES AREN'T REALLY TAKEN SERIOUSLY AS AN ART FORM. IN MY SPEECH I ATTEMPT TO CHALLENGE THAT NOTION, AND SHOW EXAMPLES OF HOW VIDEO GAMES CAN BE JUST AS GOOD (OR IN CERTAIN CASES BETTER) THAN THE OTHER KINDS OF MEDIA.
