Die US-Streitkräfte haben eine „große Kampfoperation im Iran begonnen“, das hat US-Präsident Donald Trump (79) verkündet. Auf seiner Plattform „Truth Social“ teilte er ein Video des rund achtminütigen Statements. Ziel der Operation sei es, „unmittelbare Bedrohungen durch das iranische Regime“ auszuschalten.US-Präsident Donald Trump erklärte in seiner Ansprache: „Unser Ziel ist es, das amerikanische Volk dadurch zu schützen, dass die unmittelbare Bedrohung durch das iranische Regime eliminiert wird.“ Das Mullah-Regime nannte er „eine bösartige Gruppe aus harten, schrecklichen Menschen“. Der Iran entwickle Langstreckenraketen, welche die USA und andere Länder bedrohten. „Wir werden ihre Raketen zerstören und ihre Raketenindustrie dem Boden gleichmachen.“ Die USA stellten zudem sicher, dass der Iran keine Atombombe erhalte. „Wir werden ihre Marine auslöschen“, so Trump.
