Remains of two more Gaza captives identified: Israeli military
The Israeli military says it's received the bodies of two more captives from Hamas, which have now been identified.It follows a dispute over the return of captives' remains, which has threatened to derail the Gaza ceasefire deal.
The handover by the Red Cross came hours after Israel said one of four bodies returned on Monday, was not one of the captives.
Israel is threatening to violate the truce if Hamas doesn’t return all the deceased captives.
Hamas says it's working hard to retrieve the bodies but needs specialist equipment because of the volume of rubble on the ground.
Al Jazeera correspondents Hind Khoudary is in Khan Younis in southern Gaza for the latest and Nour Odeh is following developments in Israel from Amman, she's there because the Israeli government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting inside Israel and the occupied West Bank.
