Ia mengalami luka serius hingga patah tulang jari dan harus dirawat intensif di RS Saiful Anwar.
Operasi berlangsung hampir enam jam dan melibatkan tiga dokter spesialis yaitu ortopedi, bedah saraf, dan bedah plastik.
Dikutip dari Kompas.com, kabar itu dikonfirmasi oleh putri Letda Abu Yamin, Alifia Nur Maharani, Minggu (29/6).
"Matanya sudah bisa terbuka, bengkaknya mulai kempes," ujarnya.
Dikabarkan Letda Abu Yamin mengalami luka serius, termasuk robekan wajah, patah tulang jari, dan cedera di kepala serta dahi.
Bagian kepala dan dahi korban bahkan harus dipasangi pen akibat benturan keras saat pengeroyokan terjadi.
Saat ini Letda Abu Yamin menjalani tahap pemulihan lanjutan di ruang perawatan khusus.
Sebagai informasi, polisi telah menangkap tiga pelaku diduga preman dan juru panggil penumpang (jupang) di Terminal Arjosari, Kota Malang.
