U.S. Capitol hearing focus on Trump's efforts to overturn 2020 election

The House Select Committee investigating the 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol is shifting its probe from the January 6 violence to efforts by former President Donald Trump and his advisers at the White House to plead, intimidate, and threaten state lawmakers to keep the 2020 presidential election from being legally certified.
