GRÖNLAND-KONFLIKT: Trump kündigt 25 % Sonderzölle auf EU-Waren an – Auch Deutschland betroffen | WELT LIVESTREAMUS-Präsident Donald Trump verschärft den Streit um Grönland, indem er Sonderzölle auf mehrere europäische Staaten verhängt. Ab dem 1. Februar gelten zehn Prozent Zölle auf Einfuhren aus Ländern wie Dänemark, Deutschland, Schweden und Großbritannien. Ab dem 1. Juni steigt der Satz auf 25 Prozent. Hintergrund ist Trumps Forderung nach einem Kauf Grönlands, das zu Dänemark gehört. Die EU reagierte besorgt und setzte ein außerordentliches Treffen an. Zölle könnten die transatlantischen Beziehungen weiter belasten. Dänemark, Schweden und andere europäische Staaten kritisieren Trumps Vorgehen als unakzeptabel. Proteste in Dänemark und Grönland sind die Reaktion auf die Drohungen. Trump bleibt jedoch offen für Verhandlungen, während die EU ihren Standpunkt betont: „Europa wird geeint bleiben.“
