Beijing acoge un seminario para mujeres parlamentarias africanas

Se ha inaugurado en Beijing un seminario para mujeres parlamentarias africanas. Organizado por la Asamblea Popular Nacional de China, el programa, de diez días de duración, reúne a unas 40 legisladoras y altas funcionarias de ocho países africanos para compartir experiencias y reforzar la cooperación en materia de desarrollo de la mujer.
El seminario se basa en los resultados de la Conferencia de Líderes Mundiales sobre la Mujer convocada recientemente en Beijing y tiene por objeto profundizar la amistad y fomentar el progreso compartido en la promoción del papel del género femenino en la sociedad.
