Nordrhein-Westfalens Ministerpräsident Hendrik Wüst hat Spekulationen über einen möglichen Wechsel ins Kanzleramt entschieden zurückgewiesen. Berichte, wonach er als Nachfolger von Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz bereitstehe, bezeichnete der CDU-Politiker als „Quatsch“. Wüst warnte vor Personalspekulationen und sicherte dem Kanzler seine volle Unterstützung zu.
