Hebei, en el norte de China, impulsa la "ciudad del futuro"

Desde el lanzamiento en 2017 del plan para desarrollar la Nueva Área de Xiong'an, en la provincia de Hebei, en el norte de China, la denominada ciudad del futuro ha ido tomando forma.
Xiong'an asumirá funciones no esenciales para el papel de Beijing como capital del país y contribuirá al desarrollo coordinado de la región Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. La zona ha atraído inversiones superiores a 1 billón de yuanes, unos 145.000 millones de dólares estadounidenses. El área urbanizada alcanza unos 215 kilómetros cuadrados y ya se han construido más de 5.300 edificios.
El desarrollo de la Nueva Área de Xiong'an también ha atraído la atención internacional. "Xiong'an es, para mí, un laboratorio donde China prueba a gran escala soluciones ecológicas, bajas en carbono e inteligentes.
