Penyidik disebut telah menemukan bukti pidana sehingga Roy Suryo Cs berpotensi menjadi tersangka.
Menyikapi hal itu, Roy Suryo Cs dan tim hukumnya mendatangi Polda Metro Jaya pada Senin (21/7/2025).
Mereka meminta gelar perkara khusus lantaran sebelumnya tidak dilibatkan dalam gelar perkara.
Kuasa hukum Roy Suryo Cs, Ahmad Khozinudin, juga meminta penyidik memeriksa Jokowi dan menyita ijazahnya sebagai barang bukti.
Bahkan Ahmad menilai pasal-pasal yang disangkakan sangat berat, dengan ancaman hingga 12 tahun penjara.
Ia menegaskan gelar perkara khusus adalah hal wajar untuk menjamin keadilan dan kepastian hukum.
Selain itu, mereka juga menyerahkan surat permintaan penyitaan ijazah dan pemeriksaan Jokowi sebagai pelapor untuk diuji kembali secara forensik.
