Eksekusi berlangsung pada Senin (16/6/2025) saat ketegangan antara kedua negara meningkat.
Media pemerintah Iran, Tasnim melaporkan, pelaku bernama Esmaeil Fekri.
Ia divonis hukuman mati oleh pengadilan karena terbukti menjadi mata-mata untuk Mossad.
Fekri bertugas mengumpulkan informasi rahasia hingga melakukan sabotase di Iran.
Menurut pengadilan, pelaku meneruskan informasi tersebut kepada dua perwira Mossad.
Fekri sebenarnya sudah ditangkap pada Desember 2023, namun hukuman baru dijatuhkan sekarang.
Menurut laporan dari situs resmi kehakiman Iran, Mizan Online, Esmaeil Fekri dihukum gantung.
Foto-fotonya sebelum tewas telah dipublikasikan oleh media pemerintah.
Sementara itu, Iran juga terus meluncurkan serangan balasan ke Israel.
Serangan terbaru pada Senin (16/6/2025) dini hari menghantam Kota Haifa hingga Tel Aviv.
