El Senador Rick Scott aconseja a Nicolás Maduro que huya a Rusia. El mensaje llega con fuerza desde el Senado de Estados Unidos, y Alex Otaola lo interpreta como la confirmación de que “estamos muy cerca” del desenlace.El activista cubanoamericano asegura que ya no se trata solo de declaraciones políticas: el despliegue militar en el Caribe y las operaciones encubiertas aprobadas por Washington apuntan a una limpieza hemisférica contra los regímenes autoritarios y sus redes de narcotráfico.
En su análisis, Otaola conecta los puntos: el cerco a Maduro, las sanciones a Petro y su entorno, el debilitamiento del eje Cuba–Venezuela–Colombia, y el mensaje firme de senadores como Rick Scott y Lindsey Graham.
“Esto no es retórica”, afirma. “Es el inicio de una reconfiguración geopolítica en la que se va a ir Petro, Canel y hasta Claudia Sheinbaum si sigue alineada con esa corriente”.
