Ia mengatakan pasukan elit Radwan telah siap siaga melakukan pertempuran dengan Pasukan Pertahanan Israel.
Qassem menyebut pasukan Radwan akan memukul mundur Israel yang dikabarkan sedang bersiap melakukan invasi ke Lebanon.
Pihaknya menegaskan pasukan elit Radwan dan Hizbullah akan membantai Israel secara habis-habisan.
Kondisi itu terjadi jika Israel melancarkan perang komprehensif terhadap militan Lebanon.
Qassem mengancam akan membuat Israel hancur, termasuk para pemukim jika Zionis melakukan perluasan perang di Lebanon.
Sejauh ini, konfrontasi antara Hizbullah dan pasukan Israel memang baru terjadi lintas-perbatasan.
Meski begitu, jet-jet tempur Israel sering terbang ke wilayah Lebanon Selatan untuk membom target-target yang mereka gambarkan sebagai sasaran strategis milisi Hizbullah.
Sementara pekan ini, Hizbullah melancarkan serangan langsung ke Israel Utara hingga mengakibatkan kebakaran terjadi dimana-mana.
