Le président de la transition au Niger, le général Abdourahamane Tchiani, a nommé la géostratège panafricaniste Nathalie Yamb conseillère spéciale du CNSP, lui remettant un passeport diplomatique nigérien malgré les sanctions de l’Union européenne. Figure du panafricanisme, connue pour ses analyses anti-impérialistes et ses critiques de l’influence française et des institutions occidentales, elle rejoint Kemi Seba dans l’entourage de Niamey, désormais présenté comme la « capitale du panafricanisme ». Cette décision symbolise la souveraineté du Niger, son repositionnement géopolitique et son orientation anti-occidentale. Le passeport diplomatique facilite les voyages, donne accès à des exemptions de visas et files spéciales dans les aéroports, mais n’annule pas les sanctions européennes : Nathalie Yamb reste interdite d’espace Schengen. Elle pourra cependant voyager plus librement en Afrique, dans les pays alliés du Niger, ainsi que dans les États non-alignés comme la Russie, la Chine et les BRICS, alors que les pays occidentaux continueront à lui imposer des restrictions.———————————
