I prezzi salivano e l'economia era ferma. Così, il presidente Richard Nixon prese una decisione incredibile: chiudersi in riunione a Camp David e bloccare per legge tutti i prezzi e i salari. Sembrava una mossa magica per curare l'inflazione senza fatica. All'inizio la gente festeggiò, ma ben presto si trasformò in un incubo.
