Stand by Me, come è nato il capolavoro che nessuno voleva fare

Nel 1986 arrivava nei cinema un piccolo film indipendente destinato a cambiare per sempre la storia del cinema e a ridefinire il concetto di nostalgia, amicizia e infanzia: Stand by Me - Ricordo di un'estate. Diretto da Rob Reiner e tratto dal racconto Il corpo di Stephen King, il film compie 40 anni, ma il tempo non ha scalfito la sua straordinaria potenza emotiva.

In questo video, Bede ripercorre il leggendario e tormentato making of della pellicola: dai rifiuti di tutti gli studi di Hollywood fino al salvataggio economico in extremis da parte di Norman Lear. Analizzia i provini storici del cast (Wil Wheaton, Jerry O'Connell, Corey Feldman) e si addentra nei segreti del set, come la terrificante messinscena dietro la sequenza del treno sul ponte o il disastro igienico della palude delle sanguisughe.

Ma soprattutto, facciamo i conti con l'eredità più dolorosa del film.
