Bahkan, para aktivis yang menumpangi kapal kemanusiaan tersebut menghadapi penahanan dan deportasi oleh Israel.
Kekejaman yang dilakukan Israel ini memicu kecaman keras dari berbagai pihak.
Termasuk kelompok penyelenggara dan pakar hukum internasional, yang menuding Israel melanggar hukum internasional.
Menurut Pusat hukum Palestina, Adalah, Israel tak memiliki kewenangan hukum untuk mengambil alih kapal tersebut.
Pasalnya, kapal Madleen berada di perairan internasional dan tidak menuju ke Israel.
Tepatnya, kapal itu berada di perairan teritorial Negara Palestina.
“Israel sama sekali tidak memiliki kewenangan untuk mencegat dan menghentikan kapal seperti ini, yang membawa bantuan kemanusiaan, dan lebih dari segalanya, kemanusiaan, bagi rakyat Gaza,” katanya.
Adalah yang mewakili para aktivis itu menyatakan, penangkapan 12 aktivis tak bersenjata ini pelanggaran serius terhadap hukum internasional.
Diketahui, para aktivis itu akan ditahan di fasilitas penahanan sebelum dideportasi.
Sementara itu, analis politik Palestina, Nour Odeh menyebut, para aktivis mungkin akan dituduh memasuki Israel secara ilegal.
