In this video, I reconstruct "Sadeness" by Enigma entirely from scratch — using only the original audio, my ears, and a lot of careful sound design. 🎧✨
No MIDI files, no stems, no shortcuts. Just deep listening, synthesis, programming, and mixing. 🔬🎹🎛️

We break down every single element of this iconic 1990 track:
🥁 the TR-909 drums (sampled from Soul II Soul's "Keep On Moving"),
🎹 the Roland D-50 Pizzagogo bass,
🌫️ the evolving Korg M1 pads,
🔮 the unmistakable Yamaha TX802 stereo tingling,
🎤 a sample from James Brown’s “Funky President,”
🎸 an Emulator II guitar riff,
🔔 and mysterious wind chimes that nobody can fully identify.

This is not a theory lecture — it's a real reconstruction session. Mistakes included. 😅
You'll see how sounds are identified, rebuilt, rejected, rebuilt again, and finally locked into place until they feel right. 🎛️🎚️

All of it built using UVI Vintage Vault 5 — 43 instruments, over 18,000 presets, more than 1 million samples. 🤯
Every element reconstructed using modern plugins alone. 💻🎶
