In this video, I'll go through the Herdr 0.9.5 updates one by one, starting with machines, which put your local machine and saved SSH machines in one window with one agent list, and the --machine flag, which runs Herdr API commands like agent list against a saved machine from your local terminal. Then I'll show how the terminal UI now runs in each client so two screens can watch different workspaces on the same server, and how a client update can now leave a compatible server and its running agents alone. After that, I'll cover persistence across a Mac restart or Windows shutdown, agents reporting their own state and resume command to Herdr, and a batch of quality-of-life fixes like Go To rows, multiple prefix keys and plugin update. Finally, I'll compare Herdr with PandaCode on machines, status, persistence and updates, go through the limitations of both, and give my verdict on who should use which, or both.
