Video ini muncul di tengah isu Israel akan menyerang Lebanon akhir bulan Juli 2024.
Rekaman yang memperlihatkan sistem rudal bawah tanah Hizbullah ini diunggah pada Jumat (5/7/2024).
Dalam video singkat ini, awalnya memperlihatkan sebidang tanah kosong yang tidak mencurigakan.
Namun beberapa saat, sebuah sistem rudal canggih muncul ke permukaan tanah.
Nampak peluncuran rudal yang terdiri dari 6 lubang.
Sistem rudal ini mampu menyamar tanpa dicurigai oleh musuh.
Disebut senjata ini telah dipersiapkan Lebanon sejak 2006.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, Hizbullah ternyata diam-diam juga memiliki terowongan bawah tanah di Lebanon.
Terowongan rahasia Hizbullah diklaim jauh lebih luas dibandingkan terowongan Hamas di Gaza.
Koresponden intelijen dan keamanan nasional majalah Foreign Policy, Amy Mackinnon mengatakan Iran selaku penyokong Hizbullah punya rute lewat darat dan udara melalui Irak dan Suriah yang mengarah ke Lebanon.
Terowongan itu diduga digunakan untuk memasok senjata dan amunisi untuk Hizbullah sebagai persiapan jika perang pecah di wilayah itu.
