Si vanta inoltre che siano stati denunciati i promotori dell'iniziativa. Il cartellone in questione mostra la mano dell'Italia e quella della Russia che si stringono, con la scritta: «La Russia non è il nostro nemico, #Mattarella non parla in nome del popolo italiano».
Si può anche essere in disaccordo con il tono del cartellone, ma questo non è il punto rilevante. Il punto sta nel fatto che questo modo di operare censorio e repressivo appare davvero indegno sotto ogni profilo di una repubblica democratica. In tali spazi, come bene sapeva Spinoza nel Trattato Teologico-Politico, dovrebbe sempre valere la libertas philosophandi, vale a dire la libertà di esprimere tutto ciò che si pensa senza essere perseguitati o repressi.
