TRUMP ZU VENEZUELA: „Wir werden das Land führen, bis vernünftiger Übergang gewährleistet ist“Die Welt blickte auf diese Ansprache: Nach der großangelegten Angriffswelle auf Venezuela ist US-Präsident Donald Trump (79) vor die Kameras getreten.
Trump bezeichnete die nächtliche Geheim-Operation als „spektakulärsten Angriff seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg“. Die USA werden vorerst die Kontrolle über den Karibikstaat übernehmen, kündigte der Präsident an.
Demonstrativ trat Trump gemeinsam mit den Ministern Marco Rubio und Pete Hegseth auf. Die Minister sollen aber in die Operation nicht eingebunden gewesen sein.
Der US-Präsident kündigte an: „Wir werden das Land führen, bis wir einen sicheren, ordnungsgemäßen und vernünftigen Übergang gewährleisten können.“
