Hal itu disampaikan pengacara kondang, Hotman Paris Hutapea, Rabu (29/5/2024).
Karenanya, Hotman yang juga adalah kuasa hukum keluarga Vina mempertanyakan, mengapa Pegi alias perong ditangkap.
"Karena lima dari terpidana mengatakan bukan Pegi pelakunya, hanya satu yang mengatakan (Pegi pelakunya). Terus mau apa lagi?" Kata Hotman.
Hotman juga mengatakan, dalam hukum disebutkan apabila ada hal-hal yang belum diyakini kebenarannya, maka terduga pelaku belum bisa divonis sebagai tersangka dan harus dibebaskan.
Hotman juga menilai, bukti hukum yang dimiliki Polda Jawa Barat untuk menetapkan Pegi sebagai tersangka belum kuat.
