Tangible Outcomes :

You don’t need a PhD to get into research. There are other paths. What matters most is your scientific integrity and methodology. Sometimes, it's better to quit and protect your mental health than to push yourself in an unwelcoming work environment.

Getting into activism can be intimidating at first. To make a real impact, start with local social organisations. Begin locally, then build your confidence and network to get your voice heard and your actions noticed.

We all have prejudices and biases; it's part of our nature. However, they don't have to control our actions. Be aware of your biases by meeting people from different communities and always asking yourself why you treated someone a certain way. This is crucial, especially if you are a recruiter.

It's okay to make mistakes; we all sometimes make hurtful comments, intentionally or not. What's important is to never belittle someone's feelings. Listen if they tell you that you hurt them. Instead of being defensive, see this as an opportunity to learn so you don't repeat the same behaviour in the future.
