Satu Anggota KKB Papua Tewas Ditembak, Akibat Ini
PAPUA, KOMPAS.TV - Satu Anggota Kelompok Kriminal Bersenjata Intan Jaya Atas nama Basoka Lawiya tewas ditembak personel Satgas Damai Cartenz di Nabire, Papua Tengah.Satu anggota KKB atas nama Basoka Lawiya yang merupakan KKB Kodap Delapan Intan Jaya pimpinan Undius Kogoya ditembak mati Satgas Damai Cartenz, pada Minggu (7/7/2024) sore.
Kasatgas Humas Damai Cartenz, Kombes Bayu Suseno menjelaskan, penegakan hukum ini dilakukan saat razia di Kampung Topo, Distrik Uwapa, Kabupeten Nabire, Papua Tengah.
Saat itu, Bazoka Lawiya terjaring dalam razia namun berupaya melakukan perlawanan dengan menyerang aparat sehingga ditembak mati.
Dari hasil penyelidikan, anggota KKB, Basoka Lawiya aktif dalam berbagi aksi kriminal yang terjadi di Kabupaten Intan Jaya dan Kabupaten Paniai diantaranya, terlibat pembakaran rumah dinas ASN Kabupaten Intan Jaya pada Januari 2024.
