Polemik Tambang Nikel di Raja Ampat, Bahlil hingga Jokowi Buka Suara - PARASOT

JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Buntut dari pencabutan izin usaha tambang nikel di Pulau Kawei, Kabupaten Raja Ampat, Papua Barat Daya, Para pekerja melakukan aksi protes, Jumat (13/6/2025).

Mereka mendesak pemerintah pusat datang dan mencari solusi bersama.

Presiden ke-7 RI, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) juga turut angkat bicara terkait izin penambangan nikel PT Gag di Raja Ampat, Papua Barat Daya.

"Itu terlalu teknis banget, itu di kementerian. Iya, itu di kementerian teknis, sangat teknis sekali. Itu sudah diberikan izin telah lama," ujar Jokowi ditemui di Solo, pada Jumat (13/6/2025).

Lebih lanjut pihak perusahaan mengaku kecewa dengan adanya pencabutan izin.

Pihaknya menegaskan telah mengantongi izin dari berbagai lembaga dan kementerian terkait.

Sebelumnya pemerintah resmi mencabut empat izin usaha tambang yang ada di Raja Ampat, Papua.

Menteri Sekretaris Negara Prasetyo Hadi menyebutkan, keputusan itu diambil Presiden Prabowo Subianto dalam rapat terbatas pada Senin (9/6/2025).
