La presidenta del Kuomintang de China, Cheng Li-wun, y su delegación han concluido su visita de seis días a la parte continental de China. La delegación del Kuomintang visitó las ciudades de Nanjing, Shanghai y Beijing. Durante su viaje, Cheng también visitó las principales empresas tecnológicas chinas. Además, el viernes, los líderes del Partido Comunista de China y del Kuomintang de China se reunieron por primera vez en diez años, en un gesto que se considera ampliamente significativo para las relaciones a través del Estrecho.
