(LaPresse) L'incontro del vicepremier Matteo Salvini con l’ambasciatore russo? “L’incontro nasceva come un incontro con le aziende italiane che operano in Russia, e la trovo la cosa più naturale del mondo. Ricordo che noi abbiamo al ministero degli Esteri un tavolo permanente convocato da due anni sulle aziende che operano in Russia perché sapete che ci sono delle sanzioni che colpiscono determinati settori, ma non è mai intervenuto un divieto assoluto di fare attività in Russia. Quindi chiaramente noi che seguiamo le aziende del sistema Italia in qualunque contesto, in qualunque difficoltà, seguiamo anche queste. E quindi, come lo fa il ministero degli Esteri, se il vicepremier Salvini vuole organizzare con loro un'iniziativa, secondo me non c'è niente di strano. E dirò di più, in realtà non c'è niente di particolarmente strano neanche sulla presenza dell'ambasciatore russo, perché noi abbiamo una presenza diplomatica russa regolarmente accreditata in Italia. Noi non abbiamo chiuso i rapporti diplomatici con la Russia, questo penso che sia chiaro a tutti. E quindi accade che questa presenza diplomatica regolarmente accreditata parli con le autorità italiane”.
