TRIP REPORT | First Time in Rovaniemi! | Rovaniemi to London | RYANAIR Boeing 737
Ryanair Trip Report flying from Rovaniemi to London Stansted onboard one of Ryanair's Boeing 737 on a lovely winter afternoon.An incredible flight from a completely frozen Rovaniemi to London-Stansted. -24°C with a thermic sensation of -34°C! That was the temperature that day at Santa's home!
After some exploration of Rovaniemi airport (both inside and outside), as well as some planespotting, we boarded the Ryanair Boeing 737 that would take us to London.
Despite the very low temperature in Rovaniemi, the air was pretty dry, and the wings were completely clean of ice or snow, so a deicing was not necessary. Thanks to this, we took off on time, and this allowed us to have a constant sunset until reaching London, as we were flying towards the southwest.
The views during takeoff and the first half of the flight were just amazing. Snow everywhere, ice-covered trees, frozen rivers, sea ice... a pure eyecandy that I'm sure you'll enjoy. And all this under the sweet yellow sunset light. Amazing.
We landed in London around 20 minutes early after an approach with the very last lights of the day. All in all, a truly amazing flight with Ryanair from the Arctic Circle. I will repeat 100%!
