NEET-UG 2024: Aspirants Allege Irregularities in Results, Seek Probe & Re-examination
NEET-UG 2024: Aspirants Allege Irregularities in Results, Seek Probe & Re-examinationRow over India's NEET-UG 2024 results continues. NEET Stands For National Eligibility Cum Entrance test for admissions in medical colleges in India. The test was conducted on May 5 while the results were announced on June 4. The aspirants and their parents are raising concerns over a high number of top rank-holders. Sixty-seven students have got a perfect score of 720. The aspirants are also seeking the intervention of the Supreme Court in the fuelling matter. Before the commencement of the counselling session for admissions, the aspirants are demanding a probe into the alleged irregularities. However, the National Testing Agency, which holds the NEET has denied any irregularities and attributed record results to several factors such as a surge in registrations, an easier exam and the grace marks given due to a loss of "examination time".
