Mỹ cảnh báo nóng Nga cố mở rộng mặt trận, Ukraine sẽ được phép làm điều “cấm kị” nàyTrong cuộc điều trần tại Quốc hội Mỹ ngày 2/7, Ông James O'Brien, Trợ lý Ngoại trưởng Mỹ phụ trách các vấn đề châu u và Á- u nhấn mạnh nếu Nga cố gắng mở rộng mặt trận hiện tại, Mỹ có thể sẽ cho phép Ukraine tấn công ở khoảng cách xa hơn. Theo ông O'Brien, hiện tại Nga đang mất khả năng tiến quân do Ukraine gần đây tiến hành một loạt các cuộc tấn công bằng vũ khí phương Tây để phá hủy tài sản quân sự của Nga gần biên giới. Tuy nhiên, ông O'Brien nói thêm rằng, hiện ưu tiên của Mỹ là cung cấp vũ khí cho Ukraine và cho phép Ukraine sử dụng chúng vào những khu vực có nhu cầu cấp thiết nhất.
