Liberté, égalité, brutalité – die Bilder der Verwüstung aus Frankreich sind verstörend. Sind sie auch ein Menetekel für Deutschland? Was Anfang September mit friedlichen Protesten über den maroden Zustand der Schulen begonnen hatte, endete letztes Wochenende in einem Gewaltinferno. Mehr als eine halbe Million Menschen beteiligte sich im ganzen Land an teils gewaltsamen Demonstrationen. Übrig blieben verletzte Polizisten, geplünderte Geschäfte, zerstörte Gebäude.Die Unzufriedenheit entzündet sich bei unserem Nachbarn nicht nur an der Bildungsmisere, sondern an hohen Lebenshaltungskosten, gesellschaftlicher Spaltung und ungelösten Migrationsproblemen. Der französischen Minderheitsregierung fehlt das Geld, um die sozialen Probleme aus der Welt zu schaffen. Die Folge: Die politischen Ränder werden immer stärker. Droht Deutschland eine ähnliche Situation?
Für den nächsten Samstag ruft ein Bündnis unterschiedlicher Gruppen zu friedlichen Demonstrationen für mehr Investitionen in Bildung, ein bezahlbares Leben und gegen die Wiedereinführung der Wehrpflicht auf. Allerdings befürchten Sicherheitsbehörden, dass radikale und extremistische Gruppen die angekündigten Proteste für ihre Zwecke kapern könnten. Schon jetzt kursieren im Netz Gewaltaufrufe.
