Bupati Tapanuli Tengah Masinton Pasaribu menunda keberangkatannya untuk mengikuti kegiatan retret kepala daerah di Magelang, Jawa Tengah, yang akan dilaksanakan hari ini, Jumat (21/2/2025).“Sementara saya menunda keberangkatan ke Magelang sampai ada arahan lanjut dari Ibu Megawati,” kata Masinton saat dihubungi Narasi, Jumat (21/2/2025).
Masinton menaati instruksi Ketua Umum PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri, lewat surat instruksi bernomor 7295/IN/DPP/II/2025 dan terbit pada 20 Februari 2025, yang meminta kader PDI Perjuangan menunda keikutsertaan dalam retret kepala daerah usai Sekretaris Jenderal PDI Perjuangan Hasto Kristiyanto ditahan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) pada Kamis (20/2/2025).
