Alex Otaola denuncia paquetes de lujo para bucear en Cuba: el dinero va directo a GAESA

El activista y comunicador Alex Otaola denuncia la existencia de vuelos turísticos que salen desde Key West hacia Cuba, operados por compañías que se presentan como “ecológicas”, pero que en la práctica trabajan de la mano con Habanatur, entidad controlada por el conglomerado militar GAESA.

Estos paquetes, vendidos abiertamente en Estados Unidos, ofrecen experiencias de buceo y estancias cortas en Cuba por miles de dólares. Según Otaola, ni un solo centavo de ese dinero beneficia al pueblo cubano: todo termina fortaleciendo a la cúpula militar que sostiene la represión y el control total de la Isla.

Desde el programa se hace un llamado directo al congresista Carlos Giménez, cuyo distrito incluye los Cayos de Florida, para que impulse acciones que frenen este flujo de dinero hacia la dictadura. Otaola insiste en que cortar el turismo es una vía real y efectiva para debilitar económicamente al régimen.

El mensaje es claro: mientras Cuba siga bajo control militar, cada paquete turístico, cada vuelo y cada dólar que entra es oxígeno para la dictadura. La presión ciudadana desde Estados Unidos puede —y debe— hacer la diferencia.
