Un trabajador del parqueo del Hospital General Docente Doctor Ernesto Guevara de la Serna, en Las Tunas, murió durante un robo en la madrugada del lunes 25 de agosto de 2026. El diario oficial Periódico 26 admite el fallecido y la sustracción de una bicimoto, una bicicleta y un celular, pero asegura que "no se detectaron signos de violencia física".
