Sederet Identitas Pegi Setiawan yang Diganti untuk Hindari Polisi
CIREBON, KOMPAS.TV - Selama 8 tahun menjadi buronan Polisi, Pegi Setiawan alias Perong sempat mengubah nama nya menjadi Robi Irawan untuk menghindari dari pencarian Polisi.Menurut Polisi, Dirkrimum Polda Jabar menyampaikan faktor sulit nya menemukan Pegi Setiawan karena ia sempat mengganti identitas nya dengan mengubah nama menjadi Robi Irawan.
Meskipun perubahan nama ini tidak tercatat secara resmi di KTP, Pegi Setiawan hanya memperkenalkan dirinya kepada masyarakat sebagai Robi Irawan, ia juga memiliki 2 akun Facebook atas nama Pegi Setiawan dan Robi Irawan. Ditambah pula ada nya pernyataan bahwa ayah kandung Pegi Setiawan memperkenalkan pegi kepada warga sekitar sebagai keponakan bernama Robi Irawan bukan sebagai anaknya yakni Pegi Setiawan.

Selain itu, pada tahun 2016 hingga 2019, PS sempat pindah tempat tinggal dari Cirebon ke Katapang Kab. Bandung. Hal ini yang menurut Polisi menjadi faktor sulitnya menemukan Pegi Setiawan.
