Insieme a loro il pubblico del sindacato, che in piazza Lucio Dalla, ha riservato gli applausi più calorosi ai temi del lavoro e della politica estera, applaudendo calorosamente i tre ospiti e riservando qualche mugugno quando è stato nominato Matteo Renzi in chiave alleanze. «I metalmeccanici - ha concluso De Palma - se dici una cosa e poi non la fai se lo ricordano: quindi per noi questa è come un'assemblea di mandato fra i lavoratori. In assemblea si dà mandato alla trattativa e poi si giudica quella trattativa.
