Sollte die Straße von Hormus faktisch gesperrt bleiben, hält die Expertin einen Ölpreis von über 100 Dollar pro Barrel für möglich, sagte sie dem Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland. Durch die Meerenge am Persischen Golf läuft etwa ein Fünftel des weltweiten Öltransports. Auch beim Gas ziehen die Preise weiter an. Wegen des Produktionsstopps in Katar liegen sie inzwischen bei über 40 Euro pro Megawattstunde. Sollte die LNG-Produktion in dem Golfemirat nicht bald wieder hochfahren, könnten die Preise weiter steigen.
