Menkeu Purbaya Tegaskan Tak Ingin APBN Biayai Utang Kereta Cepat Whoosh

Hal tersebut disampaikan Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi seusai rapat di kediaman Presiden Prabowo Subianto, Minggu (12/20/2025).
Prasetyo mengatakan bahwa kereta cepat Whoosh saat ini menjadi salah satu moda transportasi yang sangat membantu mobilitas Jakarta-Bandung.
Akan tetapi, ia juga menyebut skema pembayaran utang KCIC tidak dibahas dalam rapat semalam.
Menteri Keuangan (Menkeu) Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa sebelumnya merespons opsi yang diberikan Chief Operating Officer (COO) Danantara Donny Oskaria dengan menolak adanya pembayaran utang Whoosh yang dibebankan pada APBN.
Terlebih menurut Purbaya, Danantara sepatutnya bisa mengatasi pembiayaan tersebut tanpa bantuan dari pemerintah.
Hal ini mengingat utang proyek Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung yang ditanggung melalui konsorsium KCIC mencapai Rp 116 triliun atau sekitar 7,2 miliar dolar AS, termasuk pembengkakan biaya yang mencatat kerugian pada semester 1-2025.
