JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Menteri Keuangan (Menkeu) Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa kritik akademisi Rocky Gerung saat berbicara tentang persoalan ekonomi era Presiden ke-7 RI, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) di Gelaran Great Lecture, Transformasi Ekonomi Nasional: Pertumbuhan Inklusif Menuju 8%, pada Kamis (11/9/2025).Menurutnya, Presiden Jokowi melakukan intervensi pada tahun 2020 untuk menggenjot perekonomian agar kembali pulih usai minus 15 persen.
"Saya mau kritik Pak Rocky Gerung sedikit. Dia suka ngeledekin Pak Jokowi enggak ngapa-ngapain. Jadi ini dipaksa intervensi langsung oleh Presiden. Jadi Presiden Jokowi itu berjasa buat kita, walau di sampingnya ada saya," ujar Purbaya disambut gelak tawa hadirin.
