Hablamos del tema con Lawrence Wilkerson, coronel retirado del Ejército de Estados Unidos y ex jefe de gabinete del secretario de Estado Colin Powell, quien afirma que Estados Unidos e Israel están cometiendo “crímenes de guerra” injustificables en Irán. “Hemos bombardeado sin cesar a la población civil. Hemos bombardeado una escuela. Hemos bombardeado un hospital”, dice Wilkerson. Además, sugiere que los medios de comunicación de Occidente están minimizando el alcance del daño que esta guerra está provocando en Israel así como el éxito defensivo que está teniendo Irán.
“Esta es una guerra de largo aliento. Trump la está malinterpretando por completo”, sostiene Wilkerson. “El único que la está interpretando correctamente es Bibi Netanyahu y creo que está dispuesto a usar un arma nuclear, en caso de que la situación llegue a ponerse tan mal como ahora parece que puede llegar ocurrir, porque Irán ni siquiera ha comenzado a disparar sus misiles más sofisticados”.
