Menurut Soeprapto, ada empat hal janggal yang ia temukan dalam kasus tewasnya diplomat muda Kemlu ini.
Pertama soal temuan bukti Arya Daru yang naik ke rooftop lantai 12 gedung Kemlu dan meninggalkan tas hitam besar.
Meski saat ini polisi sudah berhasil menguak isi tas besar yang dibawa Arya tersebut, namun hal ini sempat menjadi salah satu kejanggalan lantaran proses pengungkapan yang memakan waktu lama.
Kejanggalan kedua adalah soal status penyebab tewasnya Arya.
Soeprapto menuturkan meski ditemukan tewas dalam kondisi tragis terlilit lakban, namun hingga kini masih belum jelas apakah korban meninggal bunuh diri atau dibunuh.
Soeprapto menekankan bahwa seharusnya penyelidik memastikan terlebih dulu bungkusan plastik yang melilit kepala Arya.
Apakah ada sisa obat bius atau zat lain yang berfungsi melumpuhkan korban agar tidak melawan saat dieksekusi.
Selain itu, ia juga menuturkan bahwa kunci kamar yang hanya bisa diakses dari dalam tak jadi jaminan bahwa sudah di slot oleh korban sebelumnya.
Terakhir, soal handphone Arya Daru yang hilang dan belum ditemukan hingga kini.
Menurut Soeprapto, hilangnya ponsel korban menjadi penanda bahwa ada orang lain yang berusaha mengusik kehidupan korban malam sebelum kematian.
