Roma inaugura giovedì 15 gennaio la sperimentazione della «zona 30», un appuntamento atteso dai tanti ciclisti romani, in prima fila l’associazione «Salvaciclisti», che hanno iniziato un primo «screening». «È un’ottima iniziativa che limiterà il numero degli incidenti e azzererà, come a Bologna, il numero delle vittime - spiega Alessandra Grasso -. Qui in centro, di giorno e con il traffico, può risultare inutile, ma la sera le macchine sfrecciano anche oltre gli 80 chilometri all’ora». Monitorata la velocità delle macchine in via del Teatro Marcello, sotto al Campidoglio, attraverso un autovelox mobile: «Qui due anni fa fu uccisa una turista straniera mentre attraversava - ricorda -. È un punto in cui le macchine corrono e, come vediamo anche ora, nessuno rispetta i limiti». Dal macchinario infatti risultano velocità ben oltre i trenta chilometri orari: «Non tutti sanno che oggi è entrato in vigore questo limite. Siamo in fase sperimentale e il Comune per ora si è limitato a dare informazioni sui siti istituzionali. Mi auguro che non sia solo una operazione di facciata ma che nel tempo si strutturi». Se l’idea piace a pedoni e ciclisti, un po’ meno alletta gli automobilisti: «È assurdo - si sfoga una ragazza ferma al semaforo a bordo del suo motorino -. Non capisco perché queste limitazioni in centro, dove già si procede a fatica». In tanti affermano di non sapere ancora della introduzione dei nuovi limiti: «Ignoravo - confida un tassista -.
