Viral! Kronologi Penumpang Garuda Indonesia Kehilangan Ponsel saat ke Melbourne, Bagaimana Nasibnya?
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Seorang penumpang maskapai Garuda Indonesia, Michael Cendara, mengaku kehilangan ponselnya saat melakukan penerbangan dari Jakarta menuju Melbourne pada 6 Juni 2025.Dalam unggahan di akun Instagram pribadinya, Michael menceritakan bahwa ia menyimpan ponsel di kantong kursi pesawat, namun saat mendarat, ponsel tersebut telah raib.
Kejadian ini pun menggegerkan media sosial. Michael sempat melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke pihak maskapai, namun karena belum membuahkan hasil, ia berinisiatif melacak sendiri keberadaan ponselnya. Dari pelacakan tersebut, ponsel miliknya sempat terdeteksi berada di sebuah hotel di kawasan Southbank, Melbourne.
Berdasarkan keterangan manajemen hotel, hari itu hanya kru Garuda Indonesia dengan nomor penerbangan GA 716 yang menginap di lokasi tersebut.
Karena hasil pencarian nihil, Michael bahkan mencoba mencari ponselnya di sejumlah tempat sampah di Melbourne, mengikuti titik lokasi terakhir dari fitur pelacakan perangkat. Namun, ponselnya kemudian terdeteksi berada di Sungai Yarra.
Menanggapi hal ini, Garuda Indonesia merilis pernyataan bahwa pihaknya tengah melakukan investigasi menyeluruh. Seluruh awak kabin yang bertugas dalam penerbangan tersebut telah dibebastugaskan sementara guna mendukung proses penyelidikan internal.
