Hit him hard and end with backforward X for a followup. When he does the double pound, block the first, Perfect Dodge the second. Then hit hard again. You can effectively loop him unless he decides to go in the air.
Phase 2 is similar but his pound can end in a backflip into flying-charge. If he does that, do BRprojectile to stop him, then flying swallow into a juggle ending in an ender to knock him back to the ground (something I didn't figure out until this attempt lol). During the phase transition if you time it well you can do a full XYXXX BRXX combo on him but I timed it wrong.
