We called it a temporal upscaler without expressly naming it but now it's confirmed - it is a new version of PSSR. The community has dubbed it PSSR 2.0 but to Sony it's still just "PSSR". Either way, the results are excellent - and in this video, we talk about the nature of the scaler and compare against the FSR4 tech it is based on and, of course, DLSS 4.5.
