PLO | NATO cảnh báo rào cản có thể ngăn Ukraine gia nhập liên minhNATO đã đưa ra cảnh báo rằng việc Ukraine gia nhập liên minh có thể bị chậm trễ hoặc bị ngăn chặn nếu không thực hiện được các biện pháp cải cách chống tham nhũng. Thông tin này được đưa ra bởi một quan chức trong Bộ Ngoại giao Mỹ, trích từ báo Telegraph ngày 2/7.
NATO đòi hỏi Ukraine phải tiếp tục nỗ lực cải thiện tình trạng tham nhũng trước khi bước vào cuộc đàm phán chính thức về gia nhập. Điều này được cho là yêu cầu quan trọng nhất để đảm bảo Ukraine đáp ứng các tiêu chuẩn của liên minh. NATO dự kiến sẽ chính thức lên tiếng trong thông cáo chung tại hội nghị thượng đỉnh vào ngày 9/7 sắp tới.
Ukraine đã nộp đơn xin gia nhập NATO từ năm 2022 và đang nỗ lực để hoàn thành quá trình này sau khi xung đột kết thúc. Tuy nhiên, tham nhũng vẫn là điểm nghẽn, và Ukraine đã tăng cường cơ quan chống tham nhũng để đáp ứng yêu cầu từ phía NATO và EU.
