Naher Osten: US-Militär feuert Raketen auf einen ÖltankerIm Golf von Oman eskaliert die Lage auf See: Laut US-Zentralkommando hat ein amerikanisches Militärflugzeug einen Öltanker mit zwei Hellfire-Raketen beschossen. Der Vorwurf: Das Schiff habe trotz Blockade iranisches Öl transportieren wollen und keine Anweisungen befolgt. Der Angriff traf den Maschinenraum des unter der Flagge von Guinea-Bissau fahrenden Tankers. Nach Angaben von Centcom ist es bereits das dritte Handelsschiff innerhalb einer Woche, das durch US-Streitkräfte außer Gefecht gesetzt wurde.
