Akibat jebakan Hamas, Pasukan Pertahanan Israel (IDF) pun dilaporkan tewas berjatuhan.
Dilansir dari Tribunnews.com pada Kamis (20/6/2024), hal itu disampaikan langsung oleh Kolonel Yair Tsukerman dari tentara Pendudukan Israel.
Dalam pernyataannya, kolonel IDF itu mengatakan bahwa Hamas menggunakan taktik cerdik untuk melenyapkan pasukannya.
Di antaranya Hamas menggunakan kamera pengintai dan memiliki jaringan terowongan yang signifikan di Rafah.
Ia juga menyoroti ancaman jebakan rumah dan kamar yang disiapkan sebelum Pasukan Pendudukan Israel masuk.
"Pasukan kami menderita di Rafah," Tsukerman.
Pasalnya untuk mengatur penyergapan IDF, Hamas memasang banyak kamera pengintai di setiap sudut Rafah.
Yang mana kamera tersebut memudahkan Hamas untuk mengatur waktu kapan keluar dan meluncurkan peledak ke posisi Zionis tersebut.
Karena jebakan Hamas tersebut, Tsukerman mengaku bahwa pasukannya banyak yang tewas berjatuhan.
