Massive construction crane spins in high winds in New York City
A construction crane was spinning in the high winds in Midtown Manhattan in New York City on Friday night.The unsecured crane turned in the dangerously strong gusts NYC was experiencing.
No injuries have been reported, according to FOX News' Alexis McAdams.
"Broadway is closed to all vehicles and pedestrians between West 53rd Street and West 55th Street as a precaution. For your safety, avoid the area, expect delays, and follow all guidance from emergency personnel," NYC Emergency Management posted on X.
Meanwhile, New York State was under a high wind warning or advisory on Friday night. Winds will blow from the south to southeast, reaching gusts of 40-60 mph through this morning, according to state authorities.
